Thanks to the hotel’s central location, many attractions are within walking distance: the Leukerbad Therme and the Walliser Alpentherme are only a few steps away, as is the Gemmi lift that leads to the ski slopes. For children there are nearby ski schools and practice lifts specially geared to beginners. Winter hiking trails and toboggan runs are also in the immediate surroundings – so boredom doesn’t stand a chance.

In the hotel’s own restaurant Walliserkanne, guests are spoiled with traditional Swiss specialities such as cheese fondue and rösti. For lovers of Italian cuisine, the restaurant La Piazzetta offers homemade pasta and crispy pizzas. Both restaurants are family-friendly and offer suitable dishes for children too – making every evening a culinary highlight.
